The Side-Closure Elastic Cock-Up Wrist Split is made with a soft cotton/elastic material that provides gentle compression to the wrist, while the palm stay provides immobilizing support. Four Velcro closures secure the wrist splint at the back of the hand and wrist for a comfortable and secure fit. The support cuts low across the palm to allow full range of the fingers and hands while helping to reduce irritation and pressure points. The palmer splint is bent at the recommended 30° angle, which is believed to help open the carpal tunnel and therefore help remove pressure on the carpal nerve. The elastic provides soothing compression which can help to reduce swelling and can help to soothe arthritis and sore wrists. Cock-up wrist splints are recommended by health care professionals for carpal tunnel syndrome, arthritis, wrist sprains, post-casting, postoperative, protection during activity, wrist instability, and support for sore wrists and thumbs.

Application Instructions:
Place metal stay in the center of the palm. Stretch elastic around wrist and fasten with velcro closure.
Care Instructions:
The Wrist Splint can be machined washed with mild detergent. Lay the Wrist Splint flat to dry. Do not use a hot dryer or iron on the Wrist Splint.
