The Alpha Medical OA Unloader Knee Brace is specially designed to off-load the knee and is ideally suited for active, adult patients with moderate to severe unicompartmental osteoarthritis, moderate to severe ligament instabilities, and for post-operative rehabilitation. Our load adjust system transfers knee joint load and forces from the degenerative area to the healthy compartment. Our simple system allows the patient to control load adjustment to meet daily needs with a simple turn of the included wrench. Thigh and Calf cuffs encased in soft material enhance the function of the hinge while offering improved comfort and support. The four-tab closure and neoprene material provide soothing compression that adds support while keeping the relationship between the knee and the hinge in perfect harmony. The hinge condyle is specially padded to provide better comfort and to help disperse impact and pressure. Included flexion and extension stops are inserted into the front and back of the hinge to control each movements of the knee.
