The Olympus LSO by Alpha Medical is a cutting edge LSO designed with modular back panels that allow the patient and provider to easily modify the brace through all stages of rehabilitation and healing. Each of the two back panels can be taken out of the brace and changed to meet the patients needs. The Olympus's unique closure design provides controlled compression while being easy to apply. The rigid back panel comfortably hugs the user while helping to immobilize the back. The pliable back panel automatically contours to the back and anatomically fits the patient while working with the brace to also help immobilize and support the back. The lordosis kit allows the patient or provider to insert pre-cut lordosis supports to improve positioning, compression, or comfort.
FEATURES
The Olympus is made with a special material called spacer fabric which provides an area of air between the skin and the brace. This helps wick moisture and allows ventilation which helps prevent the build up of moisture. There are flexible vertical stays sewn onto the brace every four inches which alow the brace to conform the patient but prevent the edges from rolling while also preventing the brace from migrating. The stays also gently provide lateral support to the body. The side pulls use a slide buckle to transfer force and provide mechanical assistance when adjusting compression. All closures are pressure sensitive and connect anywhere on the Olympus for maximum adjustment.
