The Side-Closure Elastic Cock-Up Wrist Split is made with a soft cotton/elastic material that provides gentle compression to the wrist, while the palm stay provides imobilizing support. Four Velcro closures secure the wrist splint at the back of the hand and wrist for a comfortable and secure fit. The support cuts low across the palm to allow full range of the fingers and hands while helping to reduce irritation and pressure points. The palmer splint is bent at the recommended 30° angle, which is believed to help open the carpal tunnel and therefore help remove pressure on the carpal nerve.
