Application Instructions:
Place the Inguinal Hernia Aid on the abdomen with the truss pad(s) over desired location (hernia). Slip elastic belt around body and fasten with velcro closure. Bring elastic leg straps under and around legs. Fasten leg straps in the buckles on the sides of the Hernia aid / truss.
Care Instructions for the Inguinal Hernia Aid:
The Inguinal Hernia Aid can be machined washed with mild detergent. Lay the Inguinal Hernia Aid flat to dry. Do not use a hot dryer or iron on the Inguinal Hernia Aid.

I bought 2 of these to use in the interim period until I can have a hernia repair done in a couple of weeks. It works well, allowing me to lift weights and go to the gym. It is well made and sturdy enough to put as much pressure as you want on the hernia. The velcro waist strap allows you to have varying amounts of tightness around your hips. I tighten it up more when at the gym for better support. It has adjustable leg straps much like a jock to adjust the amount of pressure that you can put on the velcro-backed foam pads. The pad can be positioned wherever it best suits, there are 2 included, they are pear shaped, like a pear cut vertically, flat on 1 side and about 1 inch thick. Because this is a double truss I think it works better at providing pressure than a single one would, plus I think it feels better because of it's symmetrical fit. It works well.

The Inguinal Hernia Support I purchased through AlphaBrace.com, is well-designed, very comfortable to wear and ideal for the purpose.
